2 Recent Acquisitions: banking ephemera and general store contents

We recently purchased the contents of two buildings about to be demolished in small Ohio towns: a bank and a former general store.  Both had records, paperwork, books, journals, advertising, ephemera, billheads, etc. going back to the 1800s stored in closets, basements, attic areas, etc.  I couldn't even guess as to the number of items in these two acquisitions, but it did fill up two 26' box trucks.

A huge collection of railroad and model train ephemera just arrived here.  Contents include letterheads, billheads, stock and bond certificates, books, magazines, pamphlets, brochures, catalogs, correspondence, manuals, etc.  There are over 10,000 items in this collection going back to the 1800s.

New Acquisition - Contents of a hardware store / farm equipment dealer

New Acquisition - Giant Collection of over 4,000 vintage magazines

We just purchased a collection of over 4,000 vintage/retro magazines which should arrive in the warehouse next week.  These range in age from the early 20th Century to Mid-Century.  Most are packed with cool old ads.  We'll start adding them to our online inventory when they come in.
